Jim discovered Susanne in England where she was selling flowers out of carts on the street. He felt that with the right coaching, this “child of the streets” could develop into a Rock-n-Roll singer for a Fort Worth-based cover band. After coaching her on diction, with phrases such as “The pain in my brain is mainly from all the hurricanes,” the band felt that she was ready. She also passed the rigorous initiation rites, but maybe we shouldn’t talk about that.
