Six Feet High and Rising Band

JIM LACAMP

Vocals, Rhythm Guitar, Harmonica

Jim was raised by a pack of traveling Pygmies in the wilds of Africa. He migrated to America during the summer of love, and briefly escaped the country in a hot air balloon during the Carter Administration, returning in 1980 to marry Ashley Judd. Somehow, that didn't work out so he started playing guitar. . .to “woo” her, and possibly Halle Barry as a backup plan. He formed SIX FEET HIGH AND RISING after he left his previous band, FOO FIGHTERS, feeling that there was no future in doing original material and that a Fort Worth cover band had more upside. He also briefly considered running for Sheriff of Wise county.

“Despite the obvious wishful thinking of my bandmates,” claims Jim, “I have a staunch record of unblemished heterosexuality. I will rise above their smear campaign, with a simple reply: I know you are, but what am I?”
